• Top 100 and Top 50 programs for students; provides several $1,000 scholarships

• Additional scholarship money presented at the Fair Livestock auction to a senior student

• Student of the Month programs honors good students at Big Springs & Montague Elem.

• Send 2 High School sophomores to a leadership camp every summer (RYLA)

• Built the Montague Basketball court

• Erected the flagpole at the Montague Railroad Park

• Donated the plaque there to honor veterans

• Provide free dictionaries to every local third grade student

• Donate to the After School program

• Donate to Montague Library program and Montague Elementary School library

• Support Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and 4-H clubs locally

• Purchased the “Coming Events” sign for the Community Hall

• Sponsor High School Speech contest with $1,000 grand prize

• Sponsor belt buckle at Montague Junior Rodeo

• Fun fundraising events to raise scholarship money; yard sale, Ribs N Ravioli dinner, etc.

• Serve at bar events for other fundraisers

• Sponsored Veterans Services Dinner and donated to the Veterans Cemetery

• Some members mentor high school senior projects

• Pick up litter and clean up programs locally

• Work with First Harvest garden project to provide fresh produce to local needy

• Contributed to the erection of the Rodeo grounds

• Constructed the curbing in front of the Montague City Hall

• Raked rocks for 3 years for the City Hall lawn

• Dinner for the Rotary Club District 5110 and 5160 meetings

• Since 1965 have served as buyers for the Junior Livestock Auction

• Donated the sprinkler system for the Little League Ball Park

• Conducted the Miss Montague Contest for 15 years

• Created and produced the Balloon Faire for 4 years

• Purchased stoves and refrigerators for the Community Hall

• Painted and helped with improvements to the Community Hall

• Support local handicapped horse-back riding program

• Provided fire equipment to Montague Fire Dept.

• Support student exchange programs

• Purchased “Watch Out For Children” signs in Montague

• Helped construct the Montague Swimming Pool

• 2009- Provided a grant to acquire clean drinking water to 40+homes in Tanzania, Africa (Save The Rain)

• Started an Interact Club for Yreka High School students to do their own service projects

• Support the other Montague community organizations


• Participated with all four area clubs in the Derby Day fundraiser dinner


• Celebrated our 60th anniversary in 2010


• Donated chickens for the Montague community Thanksgiving food baskets


• Donated turkey rolls for the Montague Snowflake festival dinner


• Four club partnership with the Bone Marrow registry program


• Support Scott Valley Rotary's international computer program


• Provide free refreshments yearly at the Montague city Christmas tree lighting ceremony
